12 Vancouver restaurants make Canada’s top 100 list

Twelve Vancouver restaurants have been named to the list of Canada’s Top 100 Most Beloved Restaurants for 2022. The list, released by OpenTable, was created from more than one million reviews left by diners on the booking application.

“This diner-generated reference guide stands apart from others because it’s a reflection of diners’ most beloved restaurants across the country,” Matt Davis, the country director for OpenTable Canada, said in a news release.

Reviews came from diners who booked reservations and dined through OpenTable, according to the release. 

The list of Vancouver eateries named to the list include:

Two additional restaurants — Haven Kitchen + Bar in Langley and The Story Cafe in Richmond — rounded out the representation of Metro Vancouver eateries on the list.

But that wasn’t all for B.C. Four additional restaurants in the province were named to the top 100 list. Those eateries included: Block One Restaurant at 50th Parallel Winery in Lake Country; Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery in Kelowna; Tea at The Empress in Victoria; and The Butchart Gardens Dining Room in Brentwood Bay.
