Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Golden Pencil Awards by The Food Industry Association of Canada.
The candidate must have a track record of at least 10 years in the Canadian grocery industry. They should be senior executives who have left a significant imprint through their contributions to the Canadian food industry, their respective organizations and their communities.
Since its inception in 1957, the Golden Pencil Awards have celebrated excellence in the food industry. In 2023, the honour was given to Jamie Nelson, chief operating officer at Pattison Food Group, and Susan Niczowski, president and founder of Summer Fresh Salads Inc.
The deadline for nominations is set for May 24.
The winners will be celebrated at the annual Golden Pencil Awards ceremony, which will take place following GroceryConnex in Toronto on Nov. 25.
