Dubbed Wineology, the kits put “wine lovers in the creator’s seat.” The Wineology kits, which are available in Pinot Grigio style, Merlot style and Rosé style, offer everything needed to create a wine in three weeks, including holding bags, juice concentrate and fermentation agents. It’s no secret that wine and charcuterie are a perfect pairing. Skip all the picking and choosing of putting together the perfect board — while also supporting a local Vancouver business — with a pre-made charcuterie selection from The Graze Company. Seeing as outdoor get-togethers will be popular all summer long, we thought it the perfect time to consider an option for keeping your chilled favourites cool. The Yeti Roadie 24 Hard Cooler offers an update to the outdoor brand’s favourite design, boasting a lighter weight, larger capacity and improved insulation functions. Plus, the stylish cooler is billed as being big enough to fit a standard bottle of wine in an upright position, which means it will be able to pack at least a couple of your outdoor sipping selects.
With cross-Canada trips appearing to be off the table until later this summer or early fall, we’re turning to the book A Rising Tide: A Cookbook Of Recipes And Stories From Canada’s Atlantic Coast by DL Acken and Emily Lycopolus to offer a bit of an escape. Exploring Canada’s Atlantic Coast, the hardcover read serves up more than 100 recipes, along with stories of local foragers, restaurateurs, fisherman and more. The book is billed as a “souvenir and a delicious roadmap” of the region. Yum!
