Highland Spring relaunches glass range

The UK’s leading water brand, Highland Spring, has relaunched its Glass range, offering premium and stylish options for gatherings and events, ahead of hospitality restrictions lifting this summer and the return of at-home entertaining.

Ideal for both supermarkets and wholesalers, the new still and sparkling glass bottles, available in 330ml and 750ml, taps into an emerging consumer and retailer trend for alternative packaging solutions. The refined, modern design provides an updated offering, table worthy for a range of occasions both in the home and in the on-trade, says the brand.

The new design has seen Highland Spring streamline its Glass range and offer two more dominant formats. As part of Highland Spring’s ongoing commitment to providing healthy hydration in an environmentally sustainable way, the new bespoke design has been light-weighted to reduce the environmental footprint. The bottles are also 100% recyclable.

With the brand offering both still and sparkling glass formats in multiple sizes, the relaunch provides a contemporary and everyday premium for consumers and hospitality alike.

Available from now, the exciting relaunch of Highland Spring’s Glass offering caters for the increase in consumers spending more time in the kitchen and cooking from scratch, as well as the upcoming smaller celebrations to reconnect with friends and family. This has led to strong growth for Glass formats ahead of the overall water market.

Mike Buckland, consumer marketing controller at Highland Spring Group, comments: “We anticipate a huge demand for our glass products as the hotel and hospitality industry begins to open up again and this relaunch aims to refresh the range to meet the needs of consumers and customers alike.

“Our stylish new design has an elegant and contemporary feel, providing a premium touch for any occasion. We hope to see Highland Spring’s Glass offering on tables across the country, as we all start to reconnect with family in restaurants and bars, or hosting dinner parties with friends.

“While glass is a small part of the overall water market, we are continually looking to provide choice across our portfolio as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. This relaunch, which features a light-weighted bottle to reduce its carbon footprint, completes our offering of natural source water products, with every drop drawn from our protected, organic catchment area on the majestic Ochil Hills in Perthshire, Scotland.”

The relaunch of Highland Spring’s glass offering follows two NPD launches from the brand earlier this year, a 10L Hydration Pack and flavoured sparkling cans. The new flavoured sparkling cans range introduced three wildly fruity flavours inspired by Scotland, available in individual 330ml cans and 4 x 330ml multi-pack. A first for UK retail, Highland Spring’s 10L hydration pack was launched to meet the desire for natural source water across a range of occasions both in and out of home.

Highland Spring’s new glass range will be available from now across the UK in Sainsbury’s and online via Ocado as well as wholesalers including Bestway, Booker, Brakes and Compass.
