ShopRite, Instacart, Ahold Delhaize top the week’s headlines

In this week’s recap of the Top 10 most popular Supermarket News articles, a slidehow of ShopRite’s newest stores ranked as the week’s top story. Members of the Wakefern Food Corp. retail cooperative recently opened a pair of new ShopRite supermarkets a week apart in Matamoras, Pa., and Wayne, N.J. Among other stories in this week’s gallery:

In other news, online grocery giant Instacart has launched its first integrated brand campaign, highlighting its role in enabling family meals. Titled “How Homemade Is Made,” the multimedia campaign will run through the holiday season.
