Rochester, N.Y.-based Wegmans said that it has entered into an agreement to buy 8.5 acres of the 28-acre DSW Plaza from Prestige Properties & Development, which will continue to own and operate the rest of the shopping center. In other news, Amazon today opened its first larger-format Amazon Go cashierless convenience store, a 6,150-square-foot location in suburban Mill Creek, Wash. Situated at 13209 39th Ave. SE, Suite 101, in Mill Creek, the new Amazon Go has front-of-store selling space of about 3,250 square feet. The total size of more than 6,000 square feet makes the latest Go concept much bigger than current 25 Amazon Go stores, which range from 450 to 2,700 square feet in the front end.
