CII’s newest innovations, clusters and granola, are hitting the shelves this Summer! After a long year of design and construction, CII’s new multi-million-dollar manufacturing plant will be opening up in St. Joseph, Missouri at the end of May. CII specializes in the inclusion business, but most recently began production of clusters and granola, as well as the panning process and much more. Stay tuned for the grand opening announcement on our website.
What are Clusters and Granola?
Clusters and Granola begin with an oat base and transform with various ingredients, including protein crisps, dried fruit, nuts and more. The possibilities are endless for the design of your product. Clusters can be eaten as a snack, added to cereals to create a flavor profile or used to top a smoothie bowl! Granola is a bit different, and can be used as a base for a cereal or used in granola bars.
CII can customize products to complete your end design goal, whatever it may be. In the multiple on-site Research and Development labs at CII, they have created an innovation process to adapt to customer needs since 1989. Products can come in vast array of colors, flavors, sizes, formulation and granulation. CII’s products are available to be created as: gluten free, sugar free, sodium free, nut free, Kosher, non-GMO, organic, vegan and many more.
In addition to the new clusters and granola production, CII also invested in multiple panning systems, which can add desired coatings to your products like yogurt, chocolate and a candy shell.
Mid-year, CII is very excited to announce that they will be offering Ingredient Heat Treatment Processing, which significantly reduces pathogens to an acceptable level in your bagged ingredient. Products can be wheat, starch, pea, soy, rice, corn and many more. Contact us for more information regarding Ingredient Heat Treatment Processing.
