Applewood Vegan is celebrating Veganuary 2024 by relaunching its first-ever snacking cheese to make it easier for snack lovers to enjoy on the go.
Multi-award-winning Applewood Vegan, which launched in Minis format in Morrisons stores across the UK this spring, will be relaunching as Applewood Vegan Bites in January, which means they will change from a circular snacking cheese to a stick format to make it easier for people with busy lives to enjoy while they are out and about.
This also means that Applewood Vegan Minis will be moving towards using fully recyclable packaging which will be in place by 2024.
Ffion Davies, senior brand manager for Applewood Vegan, said the Minis are the first-ever snacking format for Applewood Vegan and they have proved very popular with food lovers.
“Following feedback from fans of the Minis, we decided to launch them in a new snack-friendly stick version – Bites – to make it easier for people to enjoy them on the go, in the office or on the way to gym. They are also the perfect, healthy addition to lunchboxes,” Davies noted.
Toni Vernelli, international head of policy and communications, Veganuary said: “We all have the power to make the world a little kinder and greener this new year by trying vegan for January. It’s great to see companies like Applewood embracing this opportunity and providing tasty, satisfying, sustainable options for the growing number of conscious consumers.”
Applewood Vegan is part of the Norseland portfolio of cheeses – both dairy and vegan – and the company is the established blended and snacking cheese specialist in the UK so has many years of experience making the best snacking cheeses in the UK.
Applewood Vegan Bites are the snacking format of Applewood Vegan and are fortified with B12 and calcium, coconut based and free from dairy, lactose, soya, gluten and palm oil.
