Hussman launches Evolve Technologies to offer sustainable refrigeration solutions
Retail refrigeration systems company Hussmann has launched a new offering called Evolve Technologies.
The new entity will focus on developing technologies that facilitate the use of environmentally friendly refrigerants, including R-744 (CO2) and R-290 (propane).
As part of the move, Hussmann has expanded its production capacity for transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems in its Suwanee, Georgia facility. Moreover, it plans to increase capacity for its self-contained R-290 (propane) line of products, a release reads.
