Husky Food Importers and Distributors appoints Dan Hays as managing director of European brands, welcomes Milena Zekic as senior brand manager

Husky Food Importers and Distributors has announced that Dan Hays will head overseas as the company’s managing director of European brands after 10 years in Canada.

Hays previously served as the vice president (VP) of sales of marketing at Husky. He also served as the VP of sales and marketing, national importers, VP of procurement and brand development at Elco Fine Foods Canada, and director of procurement and brand development at Elco Fine Foods Europe.

In addition to Hays’ announcement, Milena Zekic has joined Husky as a senior brand manager. She previously worked with several food companies, including Bothwell Cheese, Sofina Foods, Weston Bakeries and Pionir S.E. Europe.
