Pusateri’s Yorkville will close its doors at the end of March after 20 years in the space.
Reports indicate that Pusateri’s management chose not to renew its lease at the space in the Toronto neighbourhood, and it’s unclear if the store will be relocated or permanently closed.
Slightly smaller than the chain’s other three Toronto locations, the corner retail space fronting Yorkville Avenue and Bay Street is around 5,500 square feet.
The company will soon open a new store near Toronto’s Little Italy at 899 College St. this spring. Last year, Pusateri’s closed its Saks Food Hall at CF Sherway Gardens.
Pusateri’s is renowned for its selection of upscale food items and gourmet offerings.
