Quebec discount retailer Super C opens 107th store in St. Nicolas

Quebec discount retailer Super C has opened its 107th in St. Nicolas, Quebec, after a $11 million construction project.

The brand-new store, which is 35,000 square feet, will create 120 jobs. It opened Wednesday (Feb. 28) in front of dignitaries, members of management and customers.

“The addition of this new store is part of a deployment plan that will allow us to consolidate our position as the best discounters in Quebec. We are proud to say that we have the best quality-price ratio,” said Loïc Cloutier, senior vice president of Super C. “Our teams work hard every day to offer consumers quality products at very competitive prices and a shopping experience that is both simple and efficient. We are committed to three guarantees – Always Fresh, Always in Stock and Always Great Prices.”

This is the eleventh store the retailer has opened in the Quebec City region. In honour of the opening, Super C also presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Quebec, a long-time partner, notably through our food recovery program One More Bite.

The Super C store in St-Nicolas offers a wide variety of fresh meats, large-format, organic and natural products, craft beers, microbrews and Première Moisson products.
