Crosta & Mollica expands range of Italian frozen desserts and pizzas

Modern Italian food brand, Crosta & Mollica, expands its range of Italian grocery products within the frozen desserts and pizza categories, introducing a new Roast Garlic & Mozzarella Pizza Bread and Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato available to purchase from Ocado this summer.

Crosta & Mollica offers restaurant-quality meals that can be enjoyed at home, all products are exclusively made in Italy using specially selected ingredients and traditional recipes. Known especially for its range of frozen and chilled Sourdough Pizzas, the brand also entered the frozen dessert category in 2022 which led to the launch of a Gelato range. These two new products mark an expansion of their frozen range: the new Roast Garlic & Mozzarella Pizza Bread offers the brand’s first take on garlic bread, whilst the Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato provides an additional flavour just in time for summer.

Crosta & Mollica’s classic wood-fired sourdough base in a pizetta size is topped with shaved mozzarella, a rich cream sauce, flakes of roast garlic and fresh chives. The brand considers the Roast Garlic & Mozzarella Pizza Bread as the first of its kind in the best-selling range of Crosta & Mollica Pizzas and Pinsas, known among consumers as the best supermarket option. Available to purchase from Ocado from mid May.

Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato 450ml, RRP £5.75

Made with fresh mascarpone and Italian whole milk, the mascarpone gelato is slow-whipped for a light, smooth texture with dark chocolate flakes throughout. The Mascarpone Stracciatella Gelato joins Crosta & Mollica’s range of gelato on Ocado, alongside Limoncello Sicilian Lemon and Amarena Cherry & Mascarpone. The new flavour is available to purchase from Ocado from early June.
