Multi-award winning, free-range egg producer St. Ewe Free Range Eggs, has announced a bold and vibrant brand refresh.
Alongside exciting new visual updates to its category disrupting fully-recyclable paper cartons, St. Ewe has now also launched a convenient 10 pack in Tesco.
News of the refresh comes following a successful year for the brand, which shook up the category with its revolutionary packaging design just 10 months ago. The latest iteration of the carton design aims to push the boldness of St. Ewe Free Range Eggs even further by playing with the brand’s iconic colour palette.
Bex Tonks, St. Ewe Free Range Eggs CEO notes the pride St. Ewe has in doing things differently and finding compelling new ways to tell a story and stand out from the flock.
“We innovated our packaging last year and the feedback has been resoundingly positive. The new look and feel comes in what is set to be the biggest year ever for St. Ewe,” Tonks said. “The packaging change is a marker of our ambitions to share our story – and our eggs – with more people than ever before.”
The St. Ewe Original egg cartons have been made a deeper, bolder blue and unlike before, both the Original Medium and Original Large cartons are the same base colour to lean into St. Ewe’s reputation as ‘the eggs in the blue box’. Previously available in retail packs of 6 & 12, St. Ewe Original eggs now come in 10 packs – a response to the rising cost of living and changing consumer shopping habits. St. Ewe Original Large 10 Pack is available now in Tesco for RRP £3.95.
The St. Ewe Rich Yolk cartons have had their colours reversed, moving from a yellow to an orange base, leaning into the unique selling point of the product, its rich, orange yolks. Having been developed with chefs and foodies in mind, St. Ewe has dialled up its Rich Yolk USP, by updating the carton strapline to ‘the richest yolks for foodie folks’, honing in on those credentials. Rich Yolk is available in retail packs of 6, and the newly launched 10 pack RRP £4.25.
The award-winning St. Ewe Super Eggs are the next generation in egg nutrition, and a pioneering product in the category. To truly highlight the nutritional benefits of the Super Eggs, packaging for the range has been updated to communicate the three main benefits of the eggs (Immunity (Selenium), Mind (DHA Omega 3 and Vitamin B) & Strength (Vitamin D and Protein)). Super Eggs are currently available in retail packs of 6 egg cartons RRP £2.15.
