SGS is hosting a complimentary webinar, ‘Unlocking the Power of Digital PCR for Food Safety and Authenticity.’
In the complex food supply chain, testing plays a key role in ensuring compliance. Digital PCR (dPCR) is a third-generation PCR technology, that offers improved precision, sensitivity and quantification of DNA which is often fragmented in highly processed food products and cannot be quantified accurately with traditional PCR methods.
Through its wide portfolio of dPCR solutions, SGS provides food safety and authenticity testing in four key areas – GMO screening, pathogen detection, meat speciation and allergen detection.
In this expert-led webinar, SGS presenters Joana Cruz and John Lillie explore dPCR applications in food testing; provide an overview of SGS digital PCR testing capabilities; and share case studies on the use of dPCR. Delegates are then able to ‘ask the experts’ through a dedicated Q&A session.
The online event, to be held on June 19, 2024, will be of interest to technical, quality, and surveillance managers within the food supply chain, from production to retail.
