[Burlington, ON, July 22] Barry Lanteigne, President of Distribution Canada Inc. and Director of Operations of Canadian Independent Grocery Buyers Alliance, along with the Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Marina Zaitseva as Manager of Events, Communications and Technologies for DCI & CIGBA. Marina will succeed Matthew Brown, who will be moving to the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) as of August 1st, 2024.
Marina has a proven track record of building strong relationships with members and partners in various roles within associations. Marina is proficient in all aspects of marketing and communications, including graphic design, digital campaigns, web management, app integration, social media, SEO, and events.
For the past seven years, Matthew has done an impeccable job for our association and has been integral in shaping the marketing and branding of DCI & CIGBA – from top rated events, streamlining digital applications, and elevating our presence within our industry. We wish Matthew much success in his new role as Manager of Marketing and Communications at CFIG. Matthew has been a pleasure to work with and he will truly be missed.
