Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is teaming up with Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation to launch the first-ever Discover Rural Oxford Exhibit at the Woodstock, Ont. farm show aimed at highlighting Rural Oxford’s vibrant entrepreneurial scene. During Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show from September 10 through 12, 2024, the Discover Rural Oxford Exhibit features up to four Rural Oxford businesses each day, potentially bringing 12 unique producers in over the three-day outdoor farm show. Products include artisanal cheeses, gluten-free baking, dried garlic and spices, dried flowers, Canadian-made clothing, specialty jams, handmade charcuterie boards and more.

“The exhibit will bring local fare to an international stage,” said Rural Oxford EDC economic development officer Crystal van Roekel. “We look forward to bringing this exhibit to such a staple event in our community and being able to champion our Rural Oxford businesses on this platform.”
The exhibit gives Rural Oxford businesses access to a broad audience – typically about 36,000 visitors come to the farm show annually. Visitors can experience or purchase locally sourced products for a taste of the local scene.
This unique initiative between Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and the Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation intends to foster a connection between rural producers and consumers and is just one way the farm show supports rural communities around Woodstock, Ont.
