Industry partners conduct small- and large-plot demonstration research at Discovery Farm Woodstock, Ont. to test practical applications, farming methods, technologies and products in a real-world setting.
Ontario crop adviser Paul Hermans has been chosen as the 2024 International Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) of the Year. The area agronomist with Corteva Agriscience representing the Pioneer Seed brand in eastern Ontario, has been recognized for his mentorship and innovation.

Field of Excellence, powered by AgExpert is a large-scale collaborative research project that attracts a variety of industry partners in a single cohesive project around narrowing the yield gap and improving yields. Partners include: A&L Canada Laboratories Inc., AgExpert, Kubota Canada, Sylvite and Maizex.
The EcoTea Soil Health Discovery Project includes research into how full spectrum biology can improve soil health and on-farm profitability.
LEMKEN is demonstrating the benefits of banding dry fertilizer when planting corn or soybeans with the Equalizer CII Planter.
The Smart Energy Company shares an initiative that promotes renewable energy technology and sustainable farming practices through an onsite micro solar farm and utility shed for electrical and battery devices.
Seaborn Organics Squid Fertilizer Project shares the benefits of sustainably sourced squid juice in providing macronutrients and micronutrients, amino acids, microbes and chitin for organic and traditional farming.
Maizex Seeds Research Project shares the newest varieties in the Maizex forage plot.
Drone Spray Company features the latest drone technology.
Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness features a soybean specialist about the new ways of growing soybeans.
