K-VA-T Food Stores, the parent company of Food City, has implemented SymphonyAI’s CINDE Connected Retail platform to deepen its customer insights across all key business functions, including supply chain, merchandising, shelf planning, assortment and promotion optimization.
The company operates 158 retail outlets throughout Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. Now, with the integration of CINDE Connected Retail, K-VA-T is able to closely track its most loyal shoppers helping the retailer increase their satisfaction and engagement. As K-VA-T continues to expand its market presence with new store openings, CINDE Connected Retail also will provide AI-driven shelf planning insights to help the retailer attract and retain shoppers in its new locations.
Additionally, K-VA-T category managers can now access shopper insights dashboards, and K-VA-T and its suppliers can more easily collaborate to identify key business drivers within each category, as well as create optimal promotions that deepen shopper engagement and achieve category goals. K-VA-T also is integrating CINDE Connected Retail into its strategic category reviews to make data-driven decisions on assortment strategies.
“We are pleased to continually deepen our strong, strategic partnership with SymphonyAI as we progress in our data-driven AI journey,” said Dan Glei, EVP of Merchandising and Marketing for K-VA-T in a statement. “CINDE Connected Retail provides our category management, marketing and vendor teams the shopper data-driven insights they need to meet business goals and give shoppers the selection and offers they value most.”
