Bruce Burnett, a weather and market analyst with The Western Producer Markets Desk, reported on his recent tour of western Canadian crops at Ag in Motion 2025.

Based on what he’s seen across the three Prairie provinces, the region is headed for an average crop over all. Drought conditions are significantly limiting production potential across the south, but those losses are offset by better growing conditions further north.
