Crofter’s Organic acquired by Power Sustainable Lios

Power Sustainable Lios, an agri-food private equity investment platform, acquires Parry Sound, Ont.-based Crofter’s Organic, one of the largest suppliers of organic jams, jellies, and spreads in North America.

The transaction includes co-investments from Farm Credit Canada (FCC), BMO Capital Partners, and the founding Latka family, who will remain engaged in the company’s future.

Founded in 1989, Crofter’s intends to utilize the investments to enhance capacity, , brand awareness and product innovation for its branded and private label customers.
