AALP Class 20 accepting applications

The Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP) is now accepting applications for Class 20. During the 18-month executive program, up to 30 individuals will embark on a personal leadership journey to realize their potential, while exploring the agri-food sector from the local to the international level.

Each Class is created with attention to the diversity of participants so that peer-to-peer mentorship, interrelationships and a broad network are developed.

Successful applicants will come together for in-person seminars, online webinars, small group issues analysis projects for agriculture, food and rural community clients and two study tours, one international and one in North America.

Class members will learn about government and political systems, national and international trade, communication and organization skills, negotiation and decision making, media relations, problem-solving and debating, agriculture sector issues and innovation, agri-food trends, globalization and the dynamics of change.
