Mediterranean and Middle Eastern grocery specialist is on track to open at London’s Westwood Power Centre by summer 2025
London, Ontario, April 8, 2025 – Adonis announces today plans for its newest supermarket, located in London, Ontario, are going well and that recruitment has started. Scheduled to open at the end of summer, the new store will be located at the Westwood Power Centre at the intersection of Bradley Avenue and Wonderland Road South in the southern area of the growing city. It will become Adonis’ fifth location in Ontario, 16th for the banner.
Customers will find an extensive selection of authentic international products, including specialties from Lebanon, the Middle East, North Africa and other Mediterranean countries. Adonis’ fresh pita, a customer favourite, will be baked daily in store via a compact, open-view production line that can produce an average of 15,000 pitas per day. The store will also feature 100% Halal fresh meats that meet Adonis’ high standards of quality and certification.

Alongside its international food fare and flair, Adonis sources much of its fresh produce from local farmers, allowing it to ensure the highest level of freshness and seasonal products, while supporting the local agricultural community. It also sources a significant percentage of its meats, poultry and other products from Canadian suppliers.
With plans to employ a diverse team of more than 150 employees by opening day, Adonis is currently looking to fill positions across all departments. Full-time and part-time roles are available with a strong focus on reflecting Adonis’ commitment to customer service and an exceptional in-store experience.
