A stellar line-up of specialists will gather for the British Frozen Food Federation’s annual Health and Safety conference at the British Motor Museum on 25 April.
Health and Safety professionals working in food production, wholesale, cold chain logistics and retail businesses are invited to Warwick to discuss pertinent industry issues and topics, review legislation changes and take part in soft-skills training to support boardroom communications.
Now in its 15th year, the conference serves the OSH community with a day to learn, discuss and network. Attendees can also gain valuable CPD points, supporting professional growth.
Simon Brentnall, head of health & safety at BFFF, emphasised the conference’s importance when he noted how the Annual Health & Safety Conference remains an essential opportunity for professionals to stay abreast of industry developments and enhance their knowledge.
“The topics covered are those that delegates have requested of previous conferences with seminars delivered by seasoned experts,” Brentnall said.
Attendees can expect insightful sessions on road risk reduction, health and safety leadership, legal updates, opportunities around the digitalisation of occupational safety and health (OSH), advanced claims investigation, and inspirational career journeys. An HSE update will also cover the latest news on manual handling and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
David Lancaster, CEO of the Presentation Techniques Company, brings over 30 years of experience as the conference’s Inspirational Speaker. His session will focus on effective communication strategies for health and safety professionals.
Craig Foyle, managing director of Foyle Safety & Management, will share his ‘Alternative 10K’ covering 10,000 days of his career, offering inspiration and insights for professionals at all stages of their professional journey.
