CFIG announces 2024 Life Member designations

The Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers has announced Dan Bregg, Larry Chmielewski and Ian Dickson as recipients of the CFIG Life Member designation as industry builders.

Scott Mitchell, president of Market Street Vulcan, will also receive a Life Member Award in the Independent Grocer category.

Bregg is the president of Pattison Food Group Wholesale and a past chair of the CFIG board.

Chmielewski is the director of sales and operations at Associated Grocers. He was previously vice president of sales.

Dickson was vice president of strategic growth initiatives at Associated Grocers before he retired in 2021.

Mitchell is the president of Market Street Vulcan and has been a board chair with the CFIG.

All four recipients will be officially recognized at the dinner gala at the Grocery & Specialty Food West event on Monday, April 22.
