Dominica International Airport is planned for the northeast coast of the island, between the settlements of Woodford Hill and Wesley. It will take up about 500 acres of land.

Mainly funded by Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Program (CBI), the airport development is designed to accommodate up to 750,000 passengers yearly. Additionally, it can handle wide-bodied aircraft such as Airbus A350 and Boeing 777-200ER on direct routes to North America, Europe, and Asia.
