Dot Foods Canada Celebrates Opening of New $50 CAD Million Distribution Center in Ontario

Company holds ribbon cutting ceremony and community event to celebrate opening the 168,875 square-foot facility

WHAT: 

Dot Foods Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Dot Foods, Inc., the largest food industry redistributor in North America, is opening its new distribution center in Ingersoll, Ontario. On September 15, Dot Foods Canada will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 16 will welcome the public for a community open house to celebrate the grand opening of its new 168,875 square-foot facility. Dot is making a $50 CAD million investment in the Ingersoll area and creating 200 jobs in its first three to five years of operation.

In 2016, Dot Foods Canada established operations in Toronto, Ontario, and Calgary, Alberta. The new distribution center in Ingersoll replaces its original headquarters and operations in Toronto. Dot Foods Transportation Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Dot Foods Transportation, Inc., distributes a diverse range of 3,300 Canadian and American products for more than 275 Canadian distribution points.

Several members of the company’s executive team will take part in the ribbon-cutting: CEO Dick Tracy, President George Eversman, Vice President of Distribution Centers Matt Holt, and General Counsel Martin Truong.
