Dot Foods Canada to Break Ground on New Distribution Center in Ontario

Ingersoll’s newest employer to announce $50,000 in donations to area nonprofits

WHAT: Dot Foods Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Dot Foods, Inc., the largest food industry redistributor in North America, will celebrate the groundbreaking of its new distribution center in Ingersoll, Ontario. The company is making a $50 million investment with the new 168,875 square-foot facility and will create 200 jobs in its first three to five years of operation. The Ingersoll location is scheduled to open in spring 2023.

Several members of the company’s executive team will take part in the groundbreaking: John Tracy, Executive Chairman; Martin Truong, General Counsel; Rich Raham, Western Region General Manager; Jeff Adams, Sr. Director – International; and Kerry Rambalie, Director of Transportation for Dot Transportation Canada. The Dot team will be joined by local officials including Mayor of Ingersoll Ted Comiskey, Member of Provincial Parliament Ernie Hardeman, and Member of Parliament Dave MacKenzie.

Dot will launch its charitable program during the groundbreaking celebration, as the company makes a significant monetary donation to local nonprofit organizations. Company leaders will share more details about the new facility and the hiring timeline ahead of next year’s opening.
