EPP is now the exclusive distributor of Senius products in the UK and Ireland.
Based in Denmark, the Senius offering includes indirect and direct impingement ovens and direct gas fired (DGF) ovens as well as hybrid DGF and Impingement ovens – all featuring low energy consumption. According to EPP, Senius tunnel ovens have been installed in bakeries all over the world to suit a wide range of applications, including lines for non-yeasted products such as cakes, cookies, crackers, granola pies, pizza, profiteroles, dry snacks, pet food and more.
“At EPP, we have a wealth of experience with tunnel ovens, having supplied them for more than 50 years, and if they were all combined, delivered more than 5km of tunnel oven” says Steve Merritt, EPP managing director. “Having worked with Senius and its associated companies previously, we are delighted to be working with them again.”
“Now spearheaded by a passionate and ambitious new management team, Senius offers an outstanding range of uniform baking solutions which will allow us to re-engage in this market. The flexibility they offer in terms of energy sources is also a real asset, allowing bakers to ensure energy security and save costs by switching to the most affordable source during the year.”
The Danish tunnel oven manufacturer adds to EPP’s carefully selected suppliers, complementing its existing line-up. Formed in 1988, the SENIUS team has more than 150 years of combined bakery industry experience, with in depth knowledge in project management, engineering, automation and customisation.
More than 300 Senius process lines are in operation globally. EPP will offer Senius products effective immediately. Senius has its own test centre available to prospective customers interested to try out potential lines and equipment before committing to purchase. Its modular oven sections can be seamlessly combined and optimised to meet specific process requirements.
