Ferrero starts producing Ferrero Rocher chocolate squares in Canada

Ferrero Canada has officially launched its new Ferrero Rocher chocolate squares production line at the Brantford, Ont., manufacturing facility, marking the first-ever production of this product.

This milestone is part of Ferrero’s landmark $445 million investment in Canadian operations.

The ribbon-cutting event featured remarks from Ferrero leadership and government dignitaries, including:

• Michael Lindsey, president and chief business officer, Ferrero North America;
• Omar Zausa, president, Ferrero Canada;
• Eric Houdet, SVP Canada industrial, Brantford plant director;
• MPP Will Bouma;
• Kevin Davis, Mayor, City of Brantford; and
• Alessandro Cattaneo, ambassador of Italy to Canada.
