Digital marketplace Quicklly is, well, quickly becoming a go-to source for Indian and other South Asian food for many Americans, and now many of its groceries are available for fast delivery by Instacart.
The companies’ partnership, first announced in February with the nationwide delivery of Quicklly’s ready-to-eat meal kits in three or four days, now offers delivery of Quicklly’s Indian pantry staples, desi spices and sauces — in as fast as 60 minutes. Customers can shop and order from Quicklly’s new digital storefront or via the Instacart app.
Quicklly’s service is available in seven U.S. cities: New York; Chicago; Austin, Texas; Fremont, Calif.; Sunnyvale, Calif.; Naperville, Ill.; and Edison, N.J. Plans call for Quickkly to expand same-day delivery in the coming months to six more cities: Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Boston and Los Angeles.
“We’re thrilled to grow this partnership with Instacart and bring authentic and delicious Indian and South Asian food to Americans of all backgrounds, identities and locations,” Keval Raj and Hanish Pahwa, co-founders of Chicago-based Quicklly, said in a joint statement. “With Quicklly, we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of customers engage with Indian and South Asian cuisine in new and exciting ways. We’re excited to continue to connect consumers with tasty staples and a diverse array of groceries, meal kits and more.”
Instacart continues to offer nationwide delivery of Quicklly’s ready-to-eat Indian meals kits of authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian meals and sauces in three to four days.
“We’re proud to expand our partnership with Quicklly to provide access to same-day delivery of its assortment of authentic Indian groceries, food, fresh produce and customers in seven cities,” commented Elise Metzger, director of retail accounts at San Francisco-based Instacart. “At Instacart, we’re dedicated to helping retailers compete and better serve their customers.”
