Intake now open for rotational grazing under On-Farm Climate Action Fund

OSCIA is now accepting applications for Rotational Grazing under the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) program. The intake will close on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 3:00 pm ET.

Applicants can enroll their farm operation and apply to the program anytime at https://osciaportal.org/ until May 9, 2025 at 3:00 pm ET.

-Eligibility criteria
-Available funding
-Documentation required with your application
-How to apply
-Participation in a Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE)
OSCIA advises that applications for virtual fencing technology can be submitted, with the caveat that the funding support levels may be subject to change.

To apply, applicants must have a valid farm business registration number (FBRN) or an OSCIA recognized exemption (a list of acceptable exemptions can be found in the Program Guide) and provide eligible digital site map(s) based on a satellite image for the proposed project location.

Note: All Rotational Grazing projects must be accompanied by a rotational grazing plan at the time of application, unless the application is for development of a rotational grazing plan, then the plan is due at the time of claim.

Information sessions on how to develop a Rotational Grazing plan are available. Pre-registration is required:
Thursday May 1st, 2025 – 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm ET
Monday May 5th, 2025 – 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET
