Introducing Mitsoh: A Journey Through Authentic Indigenous Cuisine

Mitsoh, meaning “eat” in the Cree nehiyaw language, represents a mission to restore, preserve, and share the traditional Indigenous way of life through authentic food experiences. By connecting people and cultures, Mitsoh offers an unparalleled journey into the heart of Indigenous culinary tradition.

Founder, Ian Gladue has always been driven by a lifelong passion for food and feeding people. The inspiration for Mitsoh came in 2015 when Ian was in the kitchen watching his mom, prepare Dry Meat and Pemmican for the family. It was then and there, he decided he was going to introduce Dry Meat and Pemmican to the world.

Mitsoh’s offerings are a testament to centuries-old wisdom and tradition, crafted with the simplest, natural ingredients. Each product is a blend of nutrition, love, and cultural connection, setting Mitsoh apart in the culinary world. With the blessing of trusted elders, our products are “elder approved,” ensuring adherence to traditional protocols and ceremonies. This validation is fundamental in maintaining the authenticity and integrity of our mission.

Proudly Indigenous-owned, Mitsoh operates out of a HACCP certified, state-of-the-art, federally inspected facility, showcasing the first foods of Canada to a national audience through e-commerce platforms and an expanding network of retail partners.

Stock your shelves with Mitsoh so your customers can experience the rich heritage of Indigenous cuisine. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our journey and invite you to walk with us in this culinary exploration. www.mitsoh.com
