Moe and Harrison tour Ag In Motion site
Ag in Motion 2025’s more than 560 exhibitors haven’t let the smoke blanketing the province dampen their enthusiasm.
They are kicking off the annual outdoor farm show near Langham this morning, with a wide array of the latest products, technology and equipment relevant to western Canadian farmers.

The 2025 Ag in Motion Innovation Awards celebrated winners across five categories: agronomics, agtech, business solutions, environmental sustainability and equipment.
Rob O’Connor, show director, was touring Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and provincial Agriculture Minister Daryl Harrison around the show site.
“It’s a great start to the day and the show,” O’Connor said.
Iron and tech
As usual, equipment demonstrations will be at the heart of the event.
This year’s field demonstrations include drone demonstrations every day at 1:30, giving attendees the chance to see the latest drones.
Land scrapers will also be seen in action daily from 9 a.m to 4 p.m., featuring equipment and applications for land leveling.
There will also be a ride and drive program in three designated areas. Farmers will have the chance to test drive sprayers, tractors, skid steers, compact loaders and telehandlers, among others.
Crops
Crop plots are another key feature — showcasing seed varieties, fertilizers and plant health and crop protection products.
This year’s plots feature canola, corn, cereals, wheat, lentils, peas, oats, barley, durum and triticale. These allow farmers to evaluate crop varieties and make future plans, speak with industry experts, and learn about the latest variety trends and common agronomic challenges.
Livestock focus
The show’s Livestock Central will give cattle producers an opportunity to see everything in one area, featuring over 100 exhibitors.
Livestock handling equipment, including sheep and cattle handling will be demonstrated daily.
A variety of feed mixers will be in operation as well for producers to evaluate.
There’s also a livestock ‘happy hour’ and speaker series, on July 15 and 16, from 2 to 4 p.m.
