In the Official Journal of 
the European Union L 171 of 17/05/2021, the denomination Pesca di Delia PGI was registered. In the food sector it is number 138 of the Italian PGIs and number 314 in the total of the Agri-food Geographical Indications of Italy.
Delia PGI peaches belong to Class 1.6. Fruit, vegetables and cereals, fresh or processed, which is confirmed as the most numerous by number of PDO PGI with 118 denominations. The Protected Geographical Indication Pesca di Delia is reserved for both yellow or white pulp peaches and yellow pulp nectarines. The varieties allowed are divided by type and ripening period.
