Petco has made its extensive assortment of pet products available for on-demand delivery via a new partnership with Uber Eats encompassing all the retailer’s locations in the contiguous U.S. To mark the launch, new and existing Uber Eats users can get 40% off orders of $50 or more (up to $30) through March 31, 2025.
“People are more connected and committed to their pets today than ever before,” said Steve Janowiak, VP of Digital at Petco in a statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with Uber Eats and give pet parents another easy way to get the trusted food, treats and supplies they need — right to their door and right when they need it.”
In March 2023 Petco partnered with Freshpet to offer a subscription pet food service, and in August 2023 Petco expanded the products available for delivery on DoorDash. Uber Eats has partnered with a number of non-food retailers in recent years, including Michaels, Rite Aid, The Vitamin Shoppe and Staples.
“As the pet parent of two naughty cats and one playful German Shepherd, I’m thrilled to welcome Petco to Uber Eats and help make life easier for so many caregivers across the country,” said Hashim Amin, Head of Retail in North America for Uber in a statement. “With Uber’s technology and nationwide delivery network, we’re making it more convenient than ever to get the quality pet products families count on delivered straight to your doorstep.”
