Purity-IQ achieves ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation

Guelph, Ont.–based Purity-IQ has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, an important milestone for the Canadian company focused on ingredient and product authenticity across the food, beverage, and dietary supplement sectors.

The accreditation, granted by the ANSI National Accreditation Board, formally recognizes the technical competence of Purity-IQ’s laboratory operations and quality systems. It provides independent assurance that the company’s testing meets internationally recognized standards for quality and reliability.

Since its founding in 2019, Purity-IQ has worked with manufacturers, suppliers, and brand owners to address risks associated with economically motivated adulteration.

“ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is an important step in our evolution,” said Deleo de Leonardis, CEO and co-founder of Purity-IQ. “It reinforces the credibility of our work and reflects our commitment to quality, consistency, and science-based assurance for the food and beverage industry.”
