Brian Bradley, Chair of Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG), Ron Welke, President and CEO, and the CFIG Board of Directors are pleased to announce Scott Lorimer, Vice President of Sales at Campbell Company of Canada, as the 2025 recipient of CFIG’s prestigious Life Member Award in the Industry Builder category.
Scott Lorimer brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry. He began his career with Unilever and PepsiCo Foods before moving into a senior sales leadership role at SC Johnson Canada. He went on to serve as Senior Vice President of Retail Sales at Maple Leaf Foods, where he successfully led cross-functional retail strategies nationwide. This year, he joined Campbell Company of Canada as Vice President of Sales, Canada, overseeing the company’s retail sales across soup, snack, and beverage categories.
Throughout his career, Scott has been recognized for building strong customer partnerships and delivering sustainable business growth. He has played a pivotal role in shaping retail strategies at some of Canada’s largest food companies, and his experience, accomplishments, and commitment stand as an example of the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to drive the grocery industry forward. He holds a degree from the University of Guelph and has become a respected mentor and leader within the industry.
Scott will be officially recognized at the Canadian Independent Grocer of the Year awards gala held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Grocery Innovations Canada 2025 (GIC).
