Uniqlo to Donate Equivalent of 2 Million Meals in 2025

Uniqlo has partnered with Feeding America to help provide 2 million meals to the organization’s local partner food banks across the U.S. Through Dec. 31, 2025, Uniqlo has committed to a minimum donation of $200,000 to the Feeding America organization.

The fast fashion retailer will donate $150,000 up front, with the remaining $50,000 to be raised via in-store PIN pad donations during customer transactions. These shopper donations will be turned on at key activation periods throughout the year, during which Uniqlo corporate and store teams also will volunteer at local food banks.

“Our partnership with Feeding America underscores our mission to make a positive difference in the communities we serve,” said Jean Shein, Global Director of Sustainability at Uniqlo in a statement. “By contributing the equivalent of 2 million meals, we aim to bring tangible relief to people who need it most and shine a light on the importance of collective action.”

The Uniqlo-Feeding America relationship began in response to the wildfires on Maui in August 2023. At that time, Uniqlo turned on the donation function at the POS in its stores to raise funds supporting the Maui Food Bank through Feeding America. The $68,897 raised was then matched by Uniqlo.

Feeding America’s network of 200 food banks, 21 partner state associations and more than 60,000 partner agencies, food pantries and meal programs help the tens of millions of people in the U.S. who experience food insecurity.
