Women in Food Industry Management (WFIM) will host an International Women’s Day event on March 5 from 5-9 p.m. at the Millennium Gardens in Brampton.
The occasion will feature a Network and Nibbles Night, inviting industry experts, thought leaders and advocates.
Nabeela Elsayed, executive leader, coach, and former chief operating officer at Walmart, will be a keynote speaker. She will also be a part of a panel with moderator Jo-Ann McArthur.
Other panellists include Samantha Renovato, director of global diversity, equity, and inclusion at Ingredion; Stephanie Amos, supplier diversity manager at Sobeys; Amy Proulx, professor, academic program coordinator at Niagara College; and Margaret Coons, founder and CEO of Nuts for Cheese.
