The 2022 Chatham-Kent Farm Show has been cancelled because the venue is needed for COVID-19 vaccination clinics and virus testing.
The show organizers, OP Show Productions Inc. was notified Dec. 15 by the John D. Bradley Centre that the facility would be needed to host vaccination and testing clinics for several months due the increasing COVID-19 cases from the Omicron variant in the Chatham-Kent region. The show was to be held at the centre from Jan. 26-27.
“This is not at all what we wanted, we were so excited to have our very first show and to see you all especially after a long year of waiting,” OP Show Productions said in a letter to exhibitors. The organizers said they will work with the centre to determine dates for a show in 2023.
