The long-awaited opening of the Oakridge Park shopping centre is this week. A portion of the sprawling development’s retail space is set to open to shoppers on May 28.
One of the largest developments in the city’s history, Oakridge Park includes a mall, residential towers, office space and a public park. While a selection of stores will be opening this week, the remainder of the development won’t be opening until fall, according to QuadReal Property Group .
The first phase of the multi-billion-dollar development, which takes up roughly eight city blocks at the intersection of Cambie Street and West 41st Avenue, was originally slated to open in spring 2025.

A selection of stores, along with the Time Out Market food hall, opens May 28.
Local favourites such as Ask for Luigi, Rob Feenie, Blnd Tger, Baan Lao, and Beaucoup Bakery Café are among the confirmed dining options joining the elevated, 50,000-sq.-ft. food court space. See the full list of Time Out Market restaurants HERE .
On opening day, May 28, the shopping centre opens at 11 a.m. After that, the posted operational hours for Oakridge Park and Time Out Market are:

The shopping centre is accessible by car, bus and transit.
Development officials suggest public transit, where possible. The Canada Line Oakridge-41st Avenue station is the stop for Oakridge Park.
The Transit Plaza entrance, near the corner of West 41st Ave. and Cambie Street, is recommended as the main entry point to the mall.
Drivers can access the mall by West 41st Avenue, Cambie Street and Choy Yuen Crescent. There’s free parking at the shopping centre for three hours. Valet parking is also available for $20 for three hours, then $5 every additional hour.
For the grand opening weekend, May 28-31, the mall will be operating a shuttle service from the shopping centre to an overflow parking lot at 949 West 41st Ave. This temporary service will be offered from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. those dates.
Oakridge Park is opening with “Find My Car” technology, which uses a system of sensors and cameras to monitor parking availability in real time. The system also helps people locate their vehicles through a “car-finding feature” that can identify a car parked within the parkade and provide detailed information on how to get to it, for drivers who lose their vehicle in the maze of parking options.
Run by Precise Park, the technology is active at other destinations around Vancouver including YVR, The Post, and Brentwood shopping centre.
