Olymel appoints new CEO – Food In CanadaFood In Canada

Olymel appoints Daniel Rivest as the company’s next CEO. Current CEO Yanick Gervais has decided to leave the position in July 2026, after 10 years at the company.

“I’ve been fortunate to enjoy an exciting 25-year career in the agri-food industry, at both La Fernandière and Olymel. I’m leaving with a deep sense of pride in the work our team has accomplished. They are exceptional people and one of the company’s greatest strengths. I’m confident Olymel will continue to grow and thrive under the leadership of Daniel Rivest,” Gervais said.

Currently serving as COO, Rivest joined Olymel in 2016. He previously served as senior vice-president of sales and marketing and has more than 20 years of experience in food processing.

Gervais will remain with the organization as a strategic advisor until October 2027.
