Annex Business Media, Canada’s largest B2B media company with more than 60 brands and event properties, has launched Manufacturing, Eh?!, a new podcast hosted by Kirstyn Brown and Justin Yule. The podcast aims to be a one-stop shop for discussion, insight and banter about all things Canadian manufacturing — and drawing from Annex’s long-standing presence in the sector.
Featuring some light banter and the odd joke, Manufacturing, Eh?! seeks to cover every corner of Canada’s manufacturing sectors, from food and beverage and packaging to automotive and refineries. If it is a tangible product or commodity made in Canada, then Kirstyn and Justin are on the case. The podcast will roll out monthly and will be a blend of interviews, discussion, news coverage, and debate, though the hosts may occasionally get off-topic to lighten the mood.
Both Kirstyn and Justin are experienced B2B editors, with the former currently holding the position of editor of MRO and Plant, while the latter is the editor of Canadian Process Equipment & Control News. As part of Annex’s rather large manufacturing media group (14 brands in total), both editors are backed up by a team of eight other editors, who will occasionally join the podcast, and who form a deep reservoir of talent and insight from which the podcast can draw.
“I’m excited about Manufacturing, Eh?! because it further demonstrates our commitment to supporting and advancing Canada’s manufacturing community,” says Paul Grossinger, group publisher of Annex Business Media’s manufacturing group. “The podcast gives a voice to the people shaping Canadian manufacturing — through real conversations, not sound bites — and provides us with a space to explore challenges, ideas and opportunities in a way that feels real.”
